Green Roof Prototype

EGRID → AV building footprints (Bodenbedeckung «Gebäude») → vegetation index on the SWISSIMAGE 10 orthophoto → green-roof polygon & area. Runs fully in the browser (LV95 / EPSG:2056).

NIR status: the published SWISSIMAGE 10 tiles (up to the 2025 flight year) are 3-band RGB — true NDVI needs the near-infrared band expected with the 2026 release (not yet on STAC). Until then the prototype uses an RGB vegetation index (GLI/VARI) as a stand-in and switches to NDVI automatically as soon as a 4-band tile (or a local 4-band GeoTIFF, e.g. a SWISSIMAGE RS extract) is loaded.
